In 2021, while working at a large CPG company, Kojo was introduced to the concept of relational databases, specifically a tool called Quickbase. What began as a curiosity became a transformation. Alongside a small team of operators-turned-builders, he started migrating workflows and datasets off of spreadsheets and paper trails, one process at a time.
The savings started adding up. Millions of dollars. Thousands of hours. But the real breakthrough came when the team started connecting different tools and datasets, creating massive leverage across the operation. That's where the name comes from.
After seeing the same problems in other functions and other companies — operations teams buried in gray work, using tools that weren't built for them — Kojo and the team decided to start Levery. Light consulting. Heavy on building solutions that teams actually want to use.
